I agree, the way it's styled makes it more than just a map, you get more of a feeling of the human element, of community.
unfortunately that's all I have like that, but I have a "normal" map of how all the local interurbans in that region overlapped.

I get that the property value in the area is cheap as dirt but I don't see it happening for anything less than a few billion. I do think that maybe it could be improved if it alternated directions every trip around, but it could only work if they have engines strong enough to go backwards, and the People Mover is famously always empty.

It only operated for 2 years before shutting down. Today it would print money. The corridor still exists either as a bike path or abandoned ROW. The only section that would need changing is the a small part on the east half of the line which was redeveloped into a cemetery.
