theres quite a few stops like this near me.

theyre on long country roads, and theres no way to get to them.
theres no pavement, no seating. its just a stop in the middle of some bush growth.
so you have to walk about a mile amongst the bushes or the edge of the road to get to it.

The one in Bilbao is located in a hilly area with many narrow roads, so it would have been impossible to get the bus to turn around, it wouldn't have been able to get to its end point if it had to find a way to turn around.
