As far as I can tell, the only options available in the US are the Cannondale Hooligan and the Mercier Nano.

If you don't want to deal with the extra maintenance/worry/weight of a frame hinge and want a stiffer ride, a mini velo is the better option allegedly.

I don't like Soma very much, but their New Albion Microbrew looks interesting. Available as a frame only right now. If you remember the soma mini velo from about 2011, this is supposed to be the same bike.

Right now I'm blessed with plenty of garage space, and at 6'3" they don't really make a mini velo that fits me. But if I had to move back into an apartment, I might buy one of these.

What is the mini velo equivalent of a 90's rigid?

I would like to build one. I like foldables but I don't have the need of it's folding capability so I would rather have the stiffness of a regular frame on a compact sized bicycle.

I thought of having a minivelo made with 24" wheels. For a manlet, it should give the proportions of riding a standard large sized 700c bike.
