It's challenging to route services into the bus terminus directly. Turning it into a major intermediate bus station is an idea I have in my mind. It depends on bus terminus capacity elsewhere.
The Canton Rd corridor is a pain in the ass, not to mention the overcrowdedness. KCR Canton Road station was dropped over redevelopment dispiutes. Kowloon Point Reclamation has some nice intentions and opportunities, so would a tram there bring.
