Downtube shifter bosses

I’m converting this frame to a single speed and the downtube shifter bosses are still here. What should I do with them. Is there anything they can be used for?

I was thinking about possibly attaching some bars to them to either use as aero bars or a foot rest. Has anyone done anything like that?

I would not want to ride in the mountains with that drivetrain, those stamp brakes, those cork tires or those clothes, though.
