I tried riding with my gf but she is painfully slow, so I just ride alone now, I enjoy the solitude. I used to ride with friends in high school, that was fun riding singletrack and just mucking about.
I tried riding with a couple of adult workmates for a bit of exercise, far less fun.

both. sometimes i will fuck off by myself for several hours. boomer rolls and longer/planned rides with friends are comfy af. if i want to "train" i'll go to the park by myself for some laps. commuting/errands are always solo.

I don't consider it a problem. I just like it better that way. Also i feel its true for majority here, that's why i prefer this site. People are going to desperately try to meet up and get personal after few friendly chats. I like my personal space.

I really, really like riding alone. The LBS ridebros are nice though and sometimes I will join them. Sometimes I'll ride a charity 100k or something but usually I'm alone 80% of the time.

When you're alone there's nobody to sponge off of or wheelsuck or to drag you up the hills. It's either finish or bonk the fuck out.

I usually ride alone, when riding with friends I`m always the one carrying all the stuff.
More often than not I end up carrying two backpacks, all the water and spares.
However there is a 35-44 cm height gap and 25-40 kg weight gap between me and my peers, leading to me beeing by far the fastest climber.
I do my turn in the flats as well, but I don`t create much of a draft for them.

When I was a little baby, my dad stuck me in a backpack and would ride around the block with me in the backpack on an old ten speed Peugeot whenever I wouldn’t sleep. I think it was either a PA or PX10.

I started riding alone, tried out on some of the teams but I preferred riding alone. I haven’t ever joined any team or done anything much.

The two women I’ve really loved both rode with me. I got dumped by both.

I didn’t really make the connection until recently but both of them were commuter riders.

Pic related, bought her a faster bike so we could ride and exercise together.

They don`t usually have the water in backpacks, I just take the water AND backpacks.
Since my bike doesn`t have enough bottlecages for that, some bottles end up in backpacks.
