If you're going to be lazy, you might as well go for big tires. At least 2.5" just make sure the rim width is adequate to prevent tire flop at lower pressure. Electric fat bikes are getting quite popular.

Fat bike or recumbent. Fat bikes are inefficient but comfy, with an electric motor it's just comfy.

Recumbent has issues with acceleration, but gives you a higher speed and more comfort. With electric assist, you don't have the acceleration issue.

You can do like 40-50km/h doing 200W on the flat so who needs batteries for that?
