evenness of spoke tension contributes slightly to wheel longevity, but does not affect the strength of the wheel (ie resistance to deformation under load).
furthermore, the increased bracing on the non drive side of a non disc rear hub significantly increases the lateral stability of the wheel, reducing its tendency to warp into a potato chip shape.
while the toughroad could also be called a gravel frame, it still performs the same function and fills the same market segment as endurance road used to. this is because gravel bikes have the same steering geometry and riding position as endurance road bikes, just with wider tires. so it's wrong to say this is not an endurance road frame.
quick release axles have been the industry standard for over 80 years and they are not going anywhere soon. they are absolutely stiff enough for any kind of road or gravel riding. and you will not get thru axles on any bike sold anywhere near the toughroad price point.
>post mount brakes are badif you think this, you're a retard. the industry has settled on post mount as a standard. they are the most adjustable, easiest to adapt, and most consistently manufactured brake mount available.
>b-but muh flat mountflat mount is shit, you're shit, and you should feel bad.
