>>1308242Gee, OP, I dunno about what you're saying.
There are over 40 guys on my race team this year, and they all ride road bikes with drop bars and a frameset with racing geometry, and they have no problems whatsoever with riding in the drops as per your pic, for hours at a time.
Also any given weekend during race season there's *hundreds* of people of all different ages and ability levels who show up at road races with bikes build just like your pic and they ride it just like your pic and have precisely zero problems with it.
Also I can go out on the American River Parkway (32 miles of paved multi-use path by the American river) on just about any day of the year, and see dozens and dozens of cyclists, both 'serious' and purely recreational riders, who ride road bikes with drop bars, and they're all perfectly comfortable and happy and have zero problems.
Sounds to me like you're full of shit, OP, or maybe you're just in such piss-poor physical condition that you can't handle riding a normal road bike without being in pain. Perhaps you'd better go visit
>>>/fit/ and get your shit together, stop being fat and weak and broken-down or whatever your physical deficiencies are, and maybe you'll be able to ride a normal bike without being in pain all the time. Also I'd recommend you find someone in your local area who is skilled at bike fitting and get your bike properly adjusted and setup for you specifically so you're not continually causing repetitive motion injuries to yourself from a poorly setup bike and can actually enjoy riding like pretty much everyone else does.
Feel better, OP, we're all pulling for you!
