Let's talk about the elephant in the room. Does anyone here ride chinese carbon and what has your experience with it been?

I currently hate all of the offerings from any manufacturer and want to custom build a bike to my own specs and appearance. Getting a hold of a good and reasonably priced alloy frame with internal cable routing is difficult though and it seems the most practical option available right now is china made carbon frames that you can order off ebay or aliexpress.

I have serious concerns about the viability of carbon frames though, I abuse the hell out of my bikes, crash them often and torque the fuck out of bolts.

Pic related rode that carbon just fine for 2 years until he put the stem on without a torque wrench and hit a pothole causing the steerer tube to shear off at the headset.
