One of our family friends died while cycling and another might be paralyzed for life from a sporting accident this afternoon. How much do you think about being in an accident while cycling? I ride very defensively, always carry identification and tell my family my expected route and return time. I'm always paranoid about being hit by someone running a red light or trying to randomly intentionally murdering me with their car. Anyone else struggle with this?
