>>1320756Actually, the "Glass Factory" is a very unique factory. Because it's Dresden, there are not many Turkish migrants, but there are plenty of robots.
They also use a tram to deliver car parts to the factory, there is a luxury restaurant inside the factory and there is also a conference centre to rent out as well as a large park outside, where there are events. Also, there's usually a display of various VW stuff. Right now, since they're making the eGolf in Dresden, the display focusses on VW electric concept cars which you can walk around and gawk at (you aren't allowed to get inside tho).
There's also a car dealership in the basement if you want to buy a VW and there's also a repository of cars which are "new" and unsold, including old Passat CCs, the old VW Phaeton (which used to be made in the factory before discontinuation of that car), the Bently Supercontinental (which was made in Dresden for 8 months while the factory in England was being refurbished) and a couple of other VW Group cars, mostly Audis, VWs, Bentlys and I think at least one Bugatti.
As an optional extra, you can choose to pick up your car in Dresden at the factory, where they do a handover ceremony.
