>>1314442I don't know the trails you are going, but a longtravel dual crown fork on a hardtail doesn't realy make much sense, they are pretty expensive, heavy and overkill with no rear suspension.
If there aren't any major drops or jumps on the trail, you probably don't need that much travel or rear suspension anyway.
For serious downhill long travel dual suspension bikes are great, but probably way outside of your budget and they are slow as fuck on the climbs.
Just as an example:
My entry level 27,5"+ hardtail weights 14,77 kg with fenders, lights and everything.
A 26" dual suspension usually weights 20-25 kg without fenders and lights, flexes when pedaling and all that suspension travel soaks up power.
As you are probably new to MTB, I would suggest not to start out with serious downhill-trails, but some less technical singletracks.
Hardtails are great for those, you can get a feel for it and chances of serious injuries are significantly lower.
They are also fun.
