>>1321168>That's not Boeing's problem. They don't make the fucking engines.Boeing don't make the engines, but the Boeing messed up the systems which connect to the engines.
Both the Trent 1000 and the GEnx engines are affected, yet the Trent XWB on the A350 has no issues and the GEnx on all 747-8s has never had any issues.
>Which the FAA has already preliminarily accepted the changes for and final global approval will come next month.Considering how the FAA were eating out of Boeing's hand when the MAX was first certified, I'm going to guess that global scrutiny is going to be a hell of a lot higher than it will be in the FAA. The MAX won't be flying until July, that's assuming there are no further issues.
>The 777X has already flown and is on schedule in it's testing and certification program. That's what I mean. It's in the development stages, not the production stages. The 777X will likely only get into service next year, assuming the FAA and global authorities don't scrutinise the 777X in case it has any unknown parts in it which Boeing failed to disclose.
>Everything in this statement is wrong. Then tell me, when's Boeing officially revealing the 797? They didn't do so last year at Farnborough, I doubt they will this year.
