Are you man enough to seize life by the throat and revolve to never travel by air again?
I've resolved to never take a plane after my last airline trip on Sunday. It was environmentally horrendous, stressful, delayed, and unpleasant. Relative to this, travelling by bike, ferry and train is fun and you get to meet cool new people, sitting in a comfy chair, at a table, like a grown up. Bus as an emergency (it is cheap tho).
Hopefully as more people abscond from flying, there will be a stronger market incentive to develop better train and ferry routes too.
