>>1327851>>1327852>>1327855here's the citation, it's from eurostat (a body within the EU):
https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Railway_safety_statistics&oldid=326173If you go down, you'll note that "suicides are in principle excluded from these statistics," to the extent they can.
99% of the fatalities were at grade crossings (which they call level crossings).
The US version does not include grade crossing deaths, but I found them here:
https://oli.org/about-us/news/collisions-casulties. That increases the deaths substantially, to around 250, BUT it includes suicides, so again it's not comparable.
So I looked up USDOT's suicide statistics, available here
https://www.volpe.dot.gov/rail-suicide-prevention, and it says that 275-328 people died in 2014-15 by suicide/railroad.
IN CONCLUSION THERE ARE NEGATIVE PEOPLE DYING IN AMERICA, THE GREATEST COUNTRY OF ALL TIME, BRITNIKS ON SUICIDE WATCH
