>>1325795Aye. Looks like I have to work on foot retention then. Plus every time I pedal on 3rd gear the motor is dragging me, so fml I guess.
I had to haul ass the other day and I barely made 4 mi in 30 min. I mean I'm barely faster then running at that speed. And any kind of hill is just...ug. I need that fucking motor. Or some retention or something.
I've allready ridden it roughly I dunno 50 mi so far.
Btw how well do carbon drives take weight? Would that be an option at all, or would they snap?
And for the record I like the drop bar position. It's like pedaling hard made easy. I prefer to be hunched over af and have even gone so far as to midosuji back in my delivery days on uphills. Every % counts. Same reason I prefer forward tilt on both bars, hood position and saddle.
Hell, make your drops point upward at a 10, 20 ish degree angle, so the end of the drop bars are pointing upward on flat land, and then go climb some serious hills, it's so much easier and nicer I stg. It's hard af st first but once you get the hang of it its dank af. Aero, easy, all your weight is on the pedal.
I digress. I know sturmey archer have a hole I can just pump grease in and it cleans the mechanism. Is there any guides to servicing the 3 nexus? And should I clean it off of dust if I dont have any wd40 or anything to wipe it off with?
Good news my ebt just refilled so I can eat ! That means I can bike further then the 1 mi radius around the Starbucks I homeless at.
