Autism and fascination with trains. Why is this?
I’ve always reckoned that it was that they preferred rigid rules and somewhat needed adult supervision to get by. That and the fascination with order over chaos, rules, and consistency. The car represents chaos, no set timetable, multiple ways to get to the same place.
