>>1328536>limited anti-ship capabilityWe funded integrating NASAMS onto the F35
>can't even be used from our new not-quite aircraft carriersWe bought the F35A, the B/C versions launch from carriers. Secondly, the LHDs were bought for enabling an amphibious landing (officially only unopposed ones) and supply the force ashore for a set amount of time. Not to be an aircraft carrier.
The Spanish versions of our LHDs have increased fuel and weapons storage to make the F35B usable off the ship. But even then it was just to enable to Spanish to train carrier ops while their real carrier was docked or out of service.
Also, we barely invested in the program, we are buying the jets like we would any other model, although we do get some local manufacturing orders out of it. There's no other new decent option, F22 is dead and buried, the rest are trash designs from europe or the 80's.
The rest of your points are retarded like yourself.
