There was a Transrapid test-track in Emsland, OPs pic is not a render, that's what the Transrapid prototype looked like.
It performed flawlessly untill someone left a maintainance cart on the tracks and they had a highspeed crash.

I can't say with 100% certainty that the technicians wheren't migrants, but I don't think it would matter if the where.
There was a maintainance cart left on the track, the Transrapid crashed into it at high speed and 23 people died.
That's not an issue with the Transrapid itself, every train crashing into something at over 400 km/h will have casualties.

It wasn't "left on the track", there were people in the maintenance vehicle when the collision happened. It was something more similar to the Tenerife disaster where communications were shitty to begin with and the already shitty procedures were not followed.

so, yes, indeed there was a maintenance vehicle on the tracks, while it should not have been, thus the transrapid crashed into it, killing people.
As far as I understand that, it's human error, and not a flaw with maglev.

Is German really so different from English? This is not complicated, "was left on the tracks" implies an abandoned object. A vehicle containing people, under the control of those people, was not "left" anywhere. It would be like saying "Germanwings 9525 was left on the side of a mountain"
