Well, we didn’t mean WD40, we were talking 90w gear oil. If you’re riding in very cold weather it can be an issue.

Had a brain fart and forgot to remove pedal bolt before using crank extractor, totally destroying the threads. Took a considerable amount of effort to removed. Tried several things including a 3 arm puller (which bent the shit out of the rings). Eventually went to town using a die grinder disc. Cut into the BB a little but didn't damage the frame.

You only need a little bit of light oil, anything too thick and the pawls will stick and your freehub won't work, but in any case you don't need to drench it in oil to make it work, if it's 'leaking out' then you put about 10 times too much in it.

I also had a slot failure on this bolt, pic related, i just left it as is for a few hundred kms, then cut flat notches and got it fuck outta there

Bought a set of Corsas a year and a half ago and no shit less than a 1000km of riding, one of them runs over a broken glass bottle and killed it. I was sour as shit about that. The other one at least I rode down to the ply casing

As you can see, the handlebars and left crank took the blunt of the impact (not to mention my friend's body: fractured vertebra, exposed radius and ulna fracture, can't remember what else)
Frame was also bent, doesn't really show from this side
