Meanwhile there are those of us in this thread who have lived in apartments and now live in houses, and we *have* a basis for comparison -- and living in a house is infinitely better, if you can afford it. So sorry that it sucks to be you, living in whatever urban shithole you're stuck in, but your 'Crab Mentality' attitude, trying to drag everyone else down to your level so you don't feel so bad and alone, just isn't cutting it.
