Could a strike from a large cargo ship sink an aircraft carrier?

Not asking a /k/ question since I'm not thinking about it in those terms. I was talking to an oiler at a bar and he said the navy was really worried about having some sort of major accident like that, where one of their transport ships (or one working under their contract) could accidentally jackknife a carrier and capsize it by running over it, using sheer inertia alone especially if it was equipped with an icebreaker bow/double hull.

pic related is the sort of boat we're talking about (nevermind the name), something big that would be used in something like an offshore mining operation
