>>1348627Ironically (and I'll be accused of being an autist for even admitting this let alone actually doing it) I've walked the 3 miles of public road (in both directions) to the parkway access I typically use, carrying a broom, and swept broken glass and other potentially tire-puncturing debris I came across, not only out of enlightened self-interest, but as an anonymous service to the many other cyclists I know use the same road.
