Do you think in the future Ford will make electric buses?

It seems Ford is more willing to try new things than almost any major car company and they're heavily investing in electrification of their entire lineup, including trucks and muscle cars.

Ford making electric buses would be really ironic.

Anyway, don't really know what they are doing but any car company not heavily investing in something besides cars is going to get absolutely dusted in the next few decades. Ford might make it GM will as well just due to it's sheer size. FCA is dead in the water and Tesla will get absorbed somewhere along the line.

I cant fucking wait. TESLA has been bitching about production lines and trickling out cars. I can't wait to see ford just absolutely PUMP out electric cars, a real car manufacturer ready to get their hands dirty on green energy for the first time in America. They are probably going to change the industry and force every other car brand to start bringing some electric cars to market.

I know people who work at Ford here in Michigan and they say the company talks green but is full of shit. They’re top heavy with management and try to pretend they’re anything but a car company. They make some decent fuel efficient sedans but are dumping all passenger cars to make bigger profit margins on trucks and SUVs. We’re one regional crisis away from $5 a gallon gas so let’s see how that pans out.
The one cool thing Ford did was buy and begin restoring the original primate meme of Detroit ruin porn, the Michigan Central depot. As a foamer I’m happy but it seems like a goofy real estate side hustle, a new “campus” when they have plenty of space in Dearborn.
I wish them all the luck in the world since I live in the heart of Ford Country, but they seem to be making dumb moves while turning out green vapor ware.

it's not green vaporware though. Ford is going all in on electric. Theyre going to be fucking everywhere. They had to fire upper executives and ceo's. Ford had a coup and while changing the gears of that large of a company will take a while, they are guaranteed to deliver. Ford can build a nice car.

Ive been wondering what company would go first, never thought it would be ford.

But do you see them making actual electric city buses? I don’t know any cities who use Ford buses except school buses.

I think that Ford will try to make electric city buses, though I don't think that they'll be a significant part of their product range, although there may be more of a significant focus from Ford towards minibuses.
