There's a much more diverse look to bikes today than back in gramp's day. Until about the turn of the millennium, basically every bike looked like one of these. Not that they're bad looking, but instead of just steel in the plain double diamond shape, you now have steel, alu, ti and carbon in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It's a shame carbon has seen off polished silver, but I still think bikes like
