>>1364372due caution and lots of luck
be careful around 8 am 11 am and 5 pm or when its raining
car drivers will hurry about for little reason
look for people who have parked quickly
they also open their door quickly
and leave their park quickly
bike a little further from the parked cars not only for obviously being able to better dodge the car doors
but also that it allows a better angle for you to look at the side of cars and around their head rests
if the B and C pillars are not huge you may see there are people sitting in the car
sometimes they can also bee seen though the back window or the door mirror
slow down and get ready for fun if there are people in the car
Exhaust smoke steam from condensation in the exhaust pipe can tell you if the engine is running
other times the tip of the pipe is shaking but there is no smoke
tail lights are not always running when a car is ready to move
because there is traffic behind you it is more important to maintain a constant position as to be seen
I have also found when I look around for cars they pay more attention to me
for all of the above its good to practice bike handling
.eg riding in a strait line of 3 to 6 inches
rapidly swerving across a width of 2 to 3 foot (the trick is to stop swerving at the right moment to place your self)
using the brakes to drift around objects (there really is not enough distance to stop but you can turn sharper as you scrub off speed)
looking over your shoulder or fully behind you without the bike changing coarse significantly
and lastly is the spider sense that shit is about to hit the fan
so you can do things ahead of time
