If you're a weekend warrior, do some math - it's probably cheaper to rent a car or borrow a friend's. For everything else, if you're in NYC (read: Not Staten Island) use literally anything else: subway, bus, bike, WALK. Driving in NYC is also a shithole ZOO, have you never walked around during rush hour? Alternate side parking? Where will you keep the car? Parking tickets? Gas? Insurance?
