Im going to be homeless pretty soon. What's the best bike to go long distance country travelling with? I'm in Maine and want to go to Colorado

Many good options. I'd probably try to build out a Mosaic RT-1d with Force 22, Easton R90SLs laced to Chris King 45D in back and SONdelux 12 up front. How much time have you got before the lease runs out?

Assuming you're a poorfag, a 90s rigid mtb.

Hardtail (front suspension) mtbs aren't great because front loading them is difficult. If you put all your stuff on just a rear rack, you'll be more likely to damage your rear wheel/tyre, and the handling is a lot worse.

If you have money, buy a touring bike, like fuji touring
