The ride is really rough and they roll slow, but if you are just doing short commutes on debris filled streets they are a very reliable option.

its barely noticeable, and the ride i more plush if you want it to be. one of the big ideas with tubeless is running a lower tyre pressure.

I wouldn't say that's their biggest drawback. Their biggest issue IMO is they have really shit traction. One of my biggest accidents was from sliding due to lack of traction.

Schwalbe Durano and Marathon tyres offer imo an ok level of protection for innacity commuting. I pick glass shards from my tyres every now and then, but the tube stays protected. Was riding Vitorria PAve Evo before and that was a flat tire every month or so.

quality hard case inner tube tires from a good brand like Bontrager or Continental are pretty much bullet proof, and weigh a ton less and are way better for actually getting any distance on.

I ride 25mm continental 4 seasons on my commute since may 2017 I think. Put about 16000km on them. One flat tire, one replacement. Before I had Vittoria rubinos and got regular flats. I am super happy with my conti's

I use clinchers btw. Never tried tubeless although I don't oppose or anything. Clinchers just seem easier to replace roadside but I almost never get flats anymore
