You claim it's a comfy perspective but at the same time can't read basic flight instruments. That doesn't sound very comfy at all.
In reality those gauges are large and directly in front of your face... very easy to read. Increasing your zoom will also solve outside perspective issues you didn't even know you were facing.
That view at .3 zoom approximates 70 degrees of vision by my guess. The outside edge of that engine is way off your left, and your GPS is halfway across the cockpit panel. That's about the view of somebody sitting in the back seat lol.
Look at picrelated. This is the minimum resolution of 800x600 and in almost half the vertical pixels you can easily read the large flight instruments directly in front of your face, while solving perspective issues.
I also liked that excerpt because it could somewhat answer the other anons question about world compression.
