Even modern 10 speed transmissions, consume more fuel, than manual with amateur driver, while providing shittier acceleration, despite shit manufacturer claim (more MPGs, more speed, more smoothness).
Only automatics I liked were DSG, eCVT in Prius (which has nothing to do with belted CVT), and old 4-speed Jatco transmission on some Nissan. Other were complete junk.
