How can I make this bike as fast as possible?

I'm completely clueless and don't even know which gears are the best, would be really thankful if you can tell me how to speed it up to its fullest and what can I expect. The model is ST180 Impala. I can give more information if needed. Thanks in advance.

It's all about the tires friend, and in this case it's 120tpi Marathon Supremes in 26x2.0" size. Enjoy your speed, you will be faster than a rigid rider on 30tpi slicks

Yeah but the gears must be important too? Also what kind of speed(in km) can I expect with these tires? I have no idea what people average and would be really nice if I can know.

1. Tires - get as narrow and as high pressure tires you can get.
2. Get your position to be comfy
3. Lower the bars as low as they go
4. Remove all excess equipment. Especially the mudguards, as they are massive aero problems in the making
5. Adjust everything.
6. Lock the rear shock

Disable the suspension and maybe put some slicks on for lower rolling resistance? Maybe drop bars for aero? but at that point you are already spending more than the bike is worth.

Other than that there is not much you can do.

not really, just keep in what ever gear allows you to maintain a constant speed @ 90 rpm
