Its possible, but hard. Because of the height you are going to be heavier then other riders, on average. So in competetive setting, where each kilogram matters, you are going to be at disadvantage.

Your height is not as important as your mass.
If you're much over 86kg even at a low (10% or less) bodyfat then that's going to be your major limiter on climbs, unless you have a ridiculously high VO2max (90+ like Lance, even before the PEDs) and/or a ridiculously high ability to build muscular endurance, and/or a ridiculously high percentage of Type-2 muscle fibers.

Height is irrelevant in cycling. If youre taller then your circulayory system also has more surface area which counteracts the added weight of being taller than average. It balances out, compare Indurain to that leprechaun Leipheimer, it doesnt matter in cycling.

In fact being tall is much better than being a manlet in cycling. Manlets will never reach the same sustained power numbers as taller, heavier riders so they get fucked in TTs and the flats unless they have a bitch boy pulling them along. The only place where manlets may have an advantage is sprinting because height doesn't dictate your maximum power that much and being more aero is a massive advantage in sprints. It's why manlets like Cab and Ewan are so good.

If I wouldn't be tall I sure would be some kind of frustrated incel with my weak personality.
But beeing tall always gives you that extra portion of respect and that extra portion of attractiveness. That makes life smooth sailing. I don't get why someone would complain about his superior genes.
Just look at all those frustrated manlets. Every manlet friend of mine has a serious issue with it. Way more serious than tall people getting asked about basketball.
