You haven't actually addressed my point criticizing you once. I don't think you even bothered to think for a second what I might be saying.
By the way, along the lines of what you want to say, I listened to you and said you could well be right and that I don't know.
Let me sum it up for you. Have a go at comprehending this. If you disagree, say why. If not, then consider not doing it anymore.
It is wrong to say that a small positive good is inherently not worthwhile simply because there are larger problems. This is often logic used in relation to environmental issues.
Ie: don't ban plastic straws even though they end up on beaches, because china/india dumps a lot more plastic in the ocean
It's the same logic that says you shouldn't vote.
It's absolute nonsense. And please don't get confused and think that your logic being nonsense means that you're wrong about any specific issue or that all environmental initiatives are worthwhile. I'm only taking issue here because of how few people there are that post on /n/ and i feel like dejavu with this bullshit from you. Now I know you might view this as 'irellevant' or 'just words' or 'just for arguements sake' or whatever, but that is just cognitive dissonance, because it's hard to be wrong but Please stop it.
