I just ordered a bullwhip so I got something to carry with me when I am attacked by dogs or wolves. Of course I carry a knife for if things really get serious but I'd hate to actually kill them. The bullwhip makes a sonic boom and was can really hurt the animal or scare m off. You just need to train a little bit.

not that anon but i have been attacked a few times by different dogs

i didn't feel that way during the attacks - not even for a moment. in one case i felt pure fear as the dog sprinted towards me but that only lasted a second or so - and then when it landed on me i felt pure adrenaline. couldn't tell you one thing i felt or thought during the struggle. there was absolutely no chance to get angry or think in terms of "well... it's me or him". i was acting entirely on instinct. dog may have been attached to me for 3 seconds or 15 i have no idea it's like trying to remember an acid high

have you ever experienced fight-or-flight? there is no "i hope a guy comes along and fucking kills this dog" when you're experiencing it

The reason why the dog landed on you was because you felt pure fear. You are EXACTLY the kind of person who has no business telling other people how to handle dog attacks. Out of "fight", and "flight", you chose the third option; "shit myself", and the dog watched you do it, and attacked you.

Here's what you put between yourself and every dog attack; a massive kick right in the head. If they grab on to you, get on top of them, and sit on their chest until they're dead.

Dogs which attack humans should be killed, it's that simple. I don't want the dog you let live attack and injure/kill someone else.

apparently you remember what happened better than i do. and why would i want to obliterate the dog with a kick (assuming i could even pull it off). thing wasn't gonna' hurt me terribly. it bit me, i got it off easily, owner begged for my forgiveness while trying to regain control of the dog, i go and thoroughly wash out a mediocre bite. dog doesn't get hurt, doesn't get put down, i'm perfectly fine just a scary experience is all

honestly the situation couldn't have gone more perfectly all things considered. the other attacks were more awkward though want to argue about those or are you finished, sweetheart?
