Outside the internet, Atlanta isn't seen as a bad place. Huge jobs boom, cost of living often 1/2 that in nyc or la, and lots of film studios moving in. Not a perfect city but it has its appeal

It really isn't, I suppose growing up in and around metro Atlanta has given me a "Grass is Greener" outlook. I'd like to move elsewhere given the opportunity, but it wouldn't be absolutely terrible if I had to stay down here.

Same. Grew up in the northern suburbs, got bored moved to a couple big coastal cities, and ended up coming back to atlanta due to the high paying jobs, low COL, and to be closer to family. Also fuck northeastern winters.
