Just for reference, full face helmet rental in big bear $90, insurance...just insurance for their bike is $50.

Don’t be a poorfag just rent the full sus. Renting them is like the best way to experience them anyways. The big bear doh is pretty hardcore too. Maybe take it to skypark in arrowhead if you’re in the area, that would be a better fit.

downhill is not very fun desu
it's like eating icecream when you're not hungry and it's cold
you're constantly riding the brakes and if you stop you'll lose control so quickly
the bike is stupid

it's way more fun riding down a less extreme hill on a backcountry xc trail somewhere actually scenic not some stupid 'on the edge' bike park.
