It's fucking nothing once again. Climate change is a meme, and even if it wasn't, nothing can be done about it until we get rid of the 95% of the world's dependence on fossil fuels. Even if that problem is solved, 70% of the world would still be utilizing them for decades because of technological straggling. These pathetic faggots just want to join a crowd. If they really cared for the environment they would be cyclists that plant trees as a hobby. Or better yet, chemical engineers.

That is not exactly true.

Phaseouts last decades, so it is normal. But it is faster than you think.
Hell, Freon thing began in 1987, and finished only in 2010. And it took about 20 years to discover that flammable common gas in fridge actually performs just as good if not better than original R12, while being cheaper and patent free, while operating on lower pressures, and that is not a fire hazard actually.
Pretty obvious thing, btw, because butane lighters existed forever.

Hell, I give zero fucks about environment. But by saving money on electricity (installed heat pump (AC) instead of oil radiator thing) I probably did more for environment, than those fags who fasted fuckton of electricity on their protest thing.

I’m a huge envirofag and I see all this stuff as empty virtue signaling. None of these people will give up their car, air conditioning, computers, phones or anything else that would affect their comfortable lives. Because nearly every one of them has been raised on a lifestyle of luxury and irresponsibility. Even the poor ones who can't afford it. They aren't going to ever actually give up any of their luxuries for a better world, so these "protests" are just parades for self-righteous liberals. It's not like it matters, liberal capitalism is entirely incapable of combating climate change, a crisis it created in the first place. Unless they plan on upending the system, any changes will be superficial.

As for transportation let's do our part to show how awesome bikes and public transport are, a lot of people are already getting priced out of car ownership anyway.

If your device has a battery, it is easier to measure power by dividing capacity (w-h) by time.
I think most phones do 0.5-2W.

I don't know about desktops, but for laptops this figure is in about in 5-10W mark (for ex. my laptop has 37 W-h battery and lasts 4-5 hours, so it is 7,5 - 10 W)
BUT. On laptop is easier to use, so it is perfect compromise between power consumption and ability to do something useful.

Electric scooters. Just 10W-h per kilometer.

This is basically a speed you would ride any long distance. Body automatically adjusts speed so it consumes as little energy as possible, unless you have OCD and speedometer.

Honestly, I think electric only propulsion would be more efficient, than excising. Only fucking batteries are garbage.
