Cant find any good pics without us in them, but old PATCO was max fuckin comfy.
Everything was wood paneling, nicotine yellow, and pea green.

The lights they use now are way too white and harsh, miss the soft yellow lights for late night returns.
The seats that flip up are a nice improvement but they still have it designed that even a short shit like me cant hold their bike flat between the doors without turning the handlebars. That's a space eater. Refabbed cars so maybe it was never an option but still.

It's a great resource on the Jersey side and stops are reasonably spaced but can anyone tell me why we need 11th, 13th, AND 15th on Locust? Who uses PATCO to travel around Philly?
I say keep 8th, maybe 13th since that's at least a new street, then get rid of the rest in favor of extending the line to like Rittenhouse

I really miss that old cookie monster garbled voice that announced the stops, if the conductor felt like it at all in the first place.
I know the computer voice is objectively better, especially for new riders, but it's the end of an era.

SEPTA did it right by having the computer voice while still keeping the old 'flipper' signs for show.
Red LED doesn't have the same charm as the old black and white signs.

I probably owe at least a hundred dollars in stolen rides.
That Freedom Card was a mistake.

I ride PATCO all the time and I actually really like the new interiors (the old ones where aesthetic tho). But PATCO did a good job keeping their old Budd company rolling stock and modernizing them.
