While TGVs stand no chance of being furnished as well as ICEs (half as many axle, half the weight allowance. It's not far from becoming an issue for Duplex designs), early Cooper interior was a very pleasant feat of industrial design with piss-easy maintenance. In fact it was such a nice design that they used it again with slightly more colorful fabric on the Dasye and Euroduplex gens.
The Lacroix interior looks gaudy, stains easily, ages terribly, is uncomfortable and an absolute bitch to maintain. Seamstresses should stay away from heavy machinery.
>>1410337>Too bad the fact that seats are fixed one directionI don't understand how that's an issue desu, I guess it's expected on other continents? I've never been on a train with turn-around seats. It's not like you need back support to survive train acceleration, you'll appreciate the landscape more facing back and I can only imagine the hassle of dealing with a seat neighbor who's adamant on pointing the seats in whatever direction you don't want them pointed to. They apparently fitted some on the latest "Océane" design Euroduplex sets, first class only, not operable by passengers.
More weird French train interiors, as we're indeed really good at making those.
That one isn't bad tho, best suburban commuter we've had in a while.
