>>1429645To clarify, Conway Scenic is the best, and priciest. You can do a 6 hour run some times of the year, over old Maine Central Mountain Division track. Absolutely gorgeous. The Cog is what it sounds like; it climbs a mountain. Clark's is a tourist attraction that laid their own track in the '50s, and has a running Climax push tourist trains. They also have a dead Shay that they ran to death, and a dead Heisler, plus some switching stuff; all leftovers from the old paper mill days.
In Maine, the Narrow Gauge Museum, and Booth Bay, run old Maine 2 footers. Awesome to see a Forney in steam.
