Then carry it east on CP leaside subdivision and then the CP Belleville subdivision, running parallel highway 7, then it links into caldwell and ottawa subdivisions at which point new track maybe new bridge connecting ottawa and gatineau
I'm not as familiar with the rail infrastructure in Quebec, but in ontario there's enough existing rail corridors, most are currently rated for 60mph freight traffic. Is acquiring a new corridor more difficult than sharing an old one with the freight companies?
