Good turboprops (even single engine ones) are so crazy they beat some light jets in many features (including speed).
I wonder how would it be if series hybrid or electric airplanes were available (in case of pure electric, decent batteries would have to be invented).

From the perspective of a pilot who's never actually flown any of them, the new Gulfstream cockpits look amazing. Lots of ergonomic shit that makes a ton of sense, like touch panels with grip areas designed into them so you can keep your hand stable in rough air, and the active sidesticks make a ton of sense too.

Embraers are nice but fuck the stupid motorcycle handlebars yoke.

If it was good enough for guys flying stick-and-rudder approaches in something with the glide performance of a rock and a approach speed of 165kts that blew tires when you looked at it the wrong way, using steam gauges like in some JFK-era Piper at some sleepy flying club in northern Wisconsin, then it's good enough for you.

but actually fucking euro companies so gulfstream.. apparently i was talking to someone in the biz and they said that 'sault's customer service is so fucking shitty and in comparison gulfstream will literally fly out a plane with replacement parts for no additional costs if ANYTHING breaks

is dassault still known for terrible customer service, i heard this in 2007

so basically just dont be poor and if you can afford 60 million dollar jet then just spend some money and upgrade your local airport's runway but make sure it's just small enough to limit commerial traffic

gulfstream is a perfect example of why capitalism is better for customer support.. basically any large company in europe is like the DOL or DMV as they are all owned by the government and their private customers mean almost zero to them

gulfstream is a company that literally was founded upon treating the ultra rich and their loyal servants as they deserve to be treated (extremely nicely)
