A FWD conversion is a bit easier to get done and some say to ride, but there's a few major drawbacks as a consequence of only being able to get so much grip out of one tire and a bike's weight balance being rear biased, namely the sharply increased tendency to wash out if a turn isn't on a clean surface, spinning out in hills, and that literally any hole can put you in an unrecoverable situation.
If it's a trike you only get some wheelspin and understeer. If it's one of those long bikes with the cargo up front and you have to carry a load that makes you front heavy very often then it's not so bad.
Basically put the power where the weight is and be conscious about grip.
