I don't know where else to ask this, so i'll apologize in advance if you get a lot of these threads.
I'm an autist who can't drive a vehicle for whatever reason, so i've been thinking about getting into bike riding. I'm sick and tired of public transport always being unreliable, resulting in me getting home late after work. Which leads me to my intial questions, where do i start? I got a decent bike already, but i rarely ride it. My commute would be about 40-45 km in all, and that seems like an awful lot. I'm already in decent shape because of /fit/ but i'm worried i wont be able to do this permanently without getting injured or something. Any tips?
>pic related is my current bike
Also, do i need cycling specific gear, like clothes, pants etc? Or can i make do with just normal gym clothes?
