In Europe we can get great deals because its made here (Mavic,DT etc)
Im buying from large webshops or directly from manufacturers while you are at the mercy of bike shops and small importers who like to slap 15-30% adidional cost

Face it, burger, carbon fiber is more harmful and generates a lot more trash than aluminium. If you are a little bit conscious about the climate and the future of our planet, you will buy aluminium wheels and metal frames.

Also the broken off carbon fibers getting out into the natural cycle don't break down well and only cause damage to wildlife from large animals to insects and even microorganisms. The fiber based composites are very harmful and has to be disposed of properly, meaning burning them at high temperature (not just throwing a pack of matches at the trash pile) producing even more fossil CO2 and other chemicals into the air.
You would know this if you were an educated person.
