>>1445686>hurr durr redit is super gay Go back there you will fit right in, and if you actually clicked the link you will see that it's from r/politics circa 2011 before the fucking bots and shills took over leading up to the last election. That same thread would be deleted immediately in 2019.
>>1445595Yep, i worked for government and the worst thing i saw was upper management rejecting one of our web apps because it threatening some useless old lady's retard monkey job filling out vacation requests. You could code the app in plain php in like an afternoon and it would have saved the department 60k a year lol, but the thin blue line or whatever.
Also towards the end of the year spending goes fucking crazy because the last thing they want to do is signal to their superiors that they could use a budget cut. So i remember they ordered brand new computers for EVERYONE in the building, even though we had up-to-date desktops already, and the new computers just sat in a storage room the remainder of the time i was there because people were too lazy to replace their machines.
Also ANYTIME there was even a little bit of a wear mark or dirt on a chair or desk or something, the management would spot it and tell us to order a new one. I thought they were supposed to be public servants? They also would complain about bureaucracy ALL THE TIME yet fucking fulfill the stereotype themselves constantly?!?
