Or other stupid crap that goes wrong - cold weather shrinkage fucking up your bolt torques for example, and then the cable pulling out of the derailleurs or FD clamp coming loose... Bar tape is a menace and annoying as hell, I much prefer flat bar grips but that doesn't work on my drop bar bike.
