>>1451253I'm not seething, I just don't see a need for it since you get 80% of the value of such things for 20% (or less!) of the cost. That extra bit to reach 100 can feel really nice, but ultimately isn't needed for me or a huge portion of other people. Not everything needs to be 105 grade or above, and I'd rather a frame that won't bite it after a few years or degrade in sunlight and is ultimately recyclable if it does go toast.
Like I said, I'M not concerned with spending on marginal gains, but someone for whom the sport/competition aspect (or consooming aspect) of cycling is where they like it, then whatever.
>>1451254From what I remember, 6mm key bolts are 6nm, 5 are 5, 4 are 4. But then things like the BB and cranks and headset and wheel bearings are all different.
>LMAO, fuck off to /o/ cagetrollMost tools you find in a hardware store - IE a 15$ torque wrench - are in ranges for automotive work... You should be telling me to fuck of to /diy/ instead.
>Maybe stop wasting it on your cage.Don't own one.
>Why are you constantly accessing the cables? By the time it's time for new housing your tape looks like a train wreck anyway, so just replace the bar tape when you replace the cable housingShit happens, I don't need housing for downtube shifters except just before the RD, and with crashes you sometimes have to replace the RD or at least remove it to bend the hanger back. Or other stupid crap that goes wrong - cold weather shrinkage fucking up your bolt torques for example, and then the cable pulling out of the derailleurs or FD clamp coming loose... Bar tape is a menace and annoying as hell, I much prefer flat bar grips but that doesn't work on my drop bar bike.
>You know $50 buys you an old iphone 6 right? Why are you using a LUXURY APPLE BUYFAG CONSOOOOMER PHONE REEEEEEEE this is literally you.I'll happily accept the devalued crap consoomers have decided is out of fashion. My current smartphone is from 2014 and works just fine for using OSMAND & such.
