I live in a smaller town and there are no bike repair shops here. I was thinking this summer I could do repairs in my spare time for some extra cash in my garage. Nothing too fancy just tuneups and general maintenance type stuff.

Has anyone done this? If so was it worth your while?

Also how can I have all the parts I need on hand, or get them relatively quickly as needed (I'm in Canada btw)? Would I need any special tools besides the standard stuff and a couple stands?
